In spring 2021, Movin’On published a study conducted with Kantar on how the younger generation views mobility in a post-COVID world.

One of the study’s key findings was that young people expect public authorities, cities and companies to work with them and accelerate change.

To better understand these expectations of public authorities and companies, Movin’On invited the leaders of two major companies in its ecosystem, Michelin and Microsoft, to debate with two young people—a student and a young professional—in front of an audience at the Hémicycle, the French National Assembly.

The speakers shared how the pandemic had changed their habits and their vision of mobility. They discussed the best ways to innovate for sustainable mobility, and the need to bring everyone around the table to move forward more effectively.

Participants:

  • Florent Menegaux, President of Michelin

  • Carlo Purassanta, President of Microsoft France

  • Guillaume Saint, Mobility Expert at Kantar

  • Laureen Calcat, student

  • Quentin Mauduit, teacher of economics and social sciences
