Who we are

A coalition of private companies committed to the public interest.

As a public-interest organization, Movin'On is an action-oriented coalition of companies committed to sustainable and equitable mobility and long-term economic growth.

Bringing together 20 international companies with a strong focus on action, we pave the way for concrete solutions across Europe and Africa. We test their feasibility across the entire value chain, demonstrate their benefits for all stakeholders, and identify and remove structural barriers through partnerships aligned with the public interest.

“The urgency to act, at scale, in depth and for the long term, remains, even as global challenges seem to be fading from the spotlight. It is therefore crucial to provide European, national and local decision-makers, across both the public and private sectors, with the insights they need to take action, reduce the risks associated with their decisions, and build a desirable future.”

No single player can tackle the challenges of sustainable mobility alone

Our members share the conviction that sustainable mobility requires a systemic approach that balances economic competitiveness, environmental imperatives, and social acceptance.

Why we exist

An enduring urgency

Despite the turbulence, the urgency to take deep and sustained action remains. Mobility must urgently operate within planetary boundaries, without widening social and territorial divides or weakening our economies.

This is a major challenge for European, national and local decision-makers, across both the public and private sectors, who must drive these far-reaching transformations over the long term.

Movin'On's mission is to listen to these decision-makers and provide them with the insights they need to take action and navigate the transitions they are responsible for delivering with greater confidence.

How we act

A challenge
no one can tackle alone

Ensuring that the mobility of people and goods operates within planetary boundaries, while remaining desirable and economically viable, requires coordinated action across the entire value chain.

That is why we bring together more than 200 public and private stakeholders through our Communities for Impact to build shared visions, combine complementary strengths, mobilize collective action, advocate for change, and test solutions that address, one by one, the technical, regulatory, financial and cultural barriers to the transformations we need.

This rigorous, pre-competitive framework lays the groundwork for business collaboration that brings private-sector needs and the public interest together. It spans all modes of transport and mobility needs, taking an ecosystem-wide approach across stakeholders, infrastructure, behaviours and technologies.

All modes

Road, rail, air, sea and urban logistics: mobility in all its dimensions.

The entire value chain

OEMs, operators, infrastructure providers, financial institutions and insurers, from design to use.

Every barrier

Technical, regulatory, financial or cultural: no barrier left unaddressed.

The entire ecosystem

Stakeholders, behaviours, technologies and territories: a 360° view of transformation.
