Young people living in cities want to rediscover village life in their neighbourhoods and be able to organise their daily lives within a 15-minute radius of home. In the latest Movin’On study conducted by Kantar, the younger generation says it is ready to make significant changes to its everyday mobility habits. It expects public and private stakeholders to work together to put genuinely useful mobility solutions in place. But young urban residents remain wary of how the operators selected will use their personal data. They say “Yes” to a smarter, more connected city that offers a better quality of life—but without giving up control over how their data is managed.
