July 4, 2023

Despite its economic and societal appeal, mobilising stakeholders around the functional economy does not come naturally. In response to this finding, our guests will take a cross-sector look at the barriers that must be removed to make the functional economy a reality: cooperation across the value chain, access to financing, European regulation, risk sharing, value sharing and the illusion that one player can act as an integrator. All the key issues will be addressed.

Speakers:

Isabelle LOC: BNP Paribas Leasing Soultions – CEO

Baptiste PERRISSIN FABERT: ADEME – Executive Director of Expertise and Programmes

Patrice KEFALAS: MICHELIN – Director of Innovation and Partnerships

Jean Jacques PONS: BASF – Managing Director, Agro France

Adrien MONTAGUT ROMANS: LICOORNES – Board Member & COMMOWN – Director of Public Affairs and Communications

On 4 July, the Salons Hoche hosted the Movin'On Impact event “Accelerating the Transition through the Functional Economy”, co-organised by BASF-Xarvio, BNP Paribas, Michelin, Saint-Gobain and ADEME. Over the past year, Movin'On brought its partners together to promote the adoption of a relevant and sustainable economic model.

This event marks the conclusion of their work and the beginning of an exciting new phase. The programme included:

📍 A major round table bringing together business leaders to explore the convergence of national ambitions and corporate strategies.

📍 Rotating workshops giving participants the opportunity to meet experts already implementing these transformations within the functional economy.

📍 How can organisations overcome internal barriers, redefine partnerships and transform the regulatory environment? It was also a unique opportunity to discover the outcomes of the work carried out within Movin'On.
