Focusing on improving the quality of the air we breathe and speeding up carbon draw-down, this theme explores local and global environmental issues in the light of the Paris Agreement on climate change.

Just a few years after COP21, meeting the targets set by the Paris Agreement is proving much tougher than expected. Additionally, over 80% of the urban population lives in areas where the World Health Organization's air quality guidelines are exceeded partly due to mobility systems.

The mobility industry needs a bold action plan to implement the Paris Agreement on climate change, with the aim of achieving a net zero emissions economy.
